What's this all about?
Secondaries will debut here the last week of may. Written by Jaume Salvà and with artwork by Joan M. Mas.Secondaries is a rough translation of the original title, Secundaris, which appears on the newspaper Diari de Balears.
The meaning of secundaris is supporting characters. You probably know quite a few people like the ones that will show up on the strips.
Yes, this is the first panel of one of the forthcoming strips. And yes, it deals with the widespread misuse of the Comic Sans font. A truly typographic embarrassment, some would ban it.
We feel sad for the poor designer of the font. He's not to blame —the thousands of design-challenged souls that insist on making moronic uses of it are.
